Living on a Möbius strip (and other manifolds)

This interactive demo shows what it would be like to live on a Möbius strip and other manifolds. The manifolds are modeled with graphs that are built out of rooms, each having doors pointing left, up, right, and down. Rooms with the same number are in fact the same room. The view is what you would see if you were on the manifold.

Use the arrow keys to move, and Shift + left/right arrows to rotate. Explore as many rooms as you can.
